How long have you been a photographer and what inspired you to go into this field?
10 years. I started by bringing my camera along with me to events where I was meeting new people. If ound it gave me an outlet to get to know people in a unique way and have a talking point. I'm terrible at small talk, so it was a great ice breaker!
What are your favorite backdrops when taking pictures?
Wherever the best light takes me! :)
What funny tricks have you found that work when photographing children/babies?
Following their lead, and interacting with whatever they choose to do.
Tell us more about your interests or pastimes?
I'm an avid reader, love video games, and hosting friends for lunch or dinner. I also enjoy time with my 3-year old Parker, my awesome Husband, and our Greyhound named Dewey.
Are you familiar with baby wearing? If you are a caregiver have you baby wore? What carriers do you prefer?
Yes! I wore my son from the time he was about a month old up to 2.5 years. I am a wrap lover, but also have a soft spot for Ring Slings.
Why did you decide to partner with CBW?
They offer wonderful support to Columbus and I want to see them succeed!
