How long have you been a photographer and what inspired you to go into this field?
I fell in love with photographing Newborns & Families simply by being a part of their moments. Those fleeting moments that I capture, the absolute bliss to parents faces...that is the best feeling in the world!
What are your favorite backdrops when taking pictures?
As a posed Newborn Photographer, I tend towards whimsical & magical colors & setups. Varying from the basic infinity cloth to Fairy Flower Wreaths.
What funny tricks have you found that work when photographing children/babies?
BE PATIENT, babies just want to be comfortable. The littles...just be silly & sweet!
Tell us more about your interests or pastimes?
When my 4 kiddos and I are not out on an adventure...I enjoy reading, painting, crafting and spend way too much time on Pinterest.
Are you familiar with baby wearing? If you are a caregiver have you baby wore? What carriers do you prefer?
I was a babywearing momma. I started 11 years ago with a Baby Bjorn on my front and a wrap on my back. I have worn a variety of styles & brands over the years, my absolute favs were my Mei Tai, Boba, & 360 Ergo Baby.
Why did you decide to partner with CBW?
I was a babywearing mother. Being a mother of multiples & a large family, babywearing was a complete God-send for my day to day routine and keeping those babies close. This group of babywearers in Columbus, as well as traveling outside of our Cbus bubble, we are a community of kind & loving parents - a community I am proud to support.
