About Columbus Babywearing
Columbus Babywearing (CBW) is a non-profit organization that promotes babywearing and provides babywearing education to empower all caregivers. CBW seeks to reach caregivers regardless of socioeconomic status, age, race, sexual orientation, gender expression or identity, religion, national origin, marital status, or family structure. It is our mission to unite and equip these caregivers through babywearing.
Columbus Babywearing operates based on a set of core beliefs:
- Safety is our priority.
- Anyone can babywear.
- Babywearing is beneficial to both child and caregiver.
Entirely run by volunteers, the group provides support via regular in-person meetings throughout Central Ohio as well as online through Facebook and our website. The organization also maintains a lending library of carriers available for rent.
