How long have you been a photographer and what inspired you to go into this field?
I've been a photographer since 2002. It was my first job out of high school and I fell in love with photography.
What are your favorite backdrops when taking pictures?
outdoors and natural photos
What funny tricks have you found that work when photographing children/babies?
Just being silly and genuine. Kids respond better to genuine sillies.
Tell us more about your interests or pastimes?
I love playing with my kids, reading, crafting and taking pictures!
Are you familiar with baby wearing? If you are a caregiver have you baby wore? What carriers do you prefer?
Yes, I’m just getting into baby wearing. I'm a foster parents, so we wear our kids that are placed with us. (We foster kids 0-4). It really helps them quickly bond and attach to us and helps give them a sense of safety and security. We don't have many right now, but we are loving our Tula, because they are quick and easy. We have a 5 year old, 20 month old and 8 month old right now.
Why did you decide to partner with CBW?
At the time, I had no kids, but had been fascinated with wearing babies. I wanted to do with my kids when they came along.
