The Ergo 360 Omni has some great features that its predecessor the Ergo 360 lacked. Those upgrades include a buckle only waist with added lumbar support pad. I found that this added feature which is a wide rectangular pad had more back coverage than Lillebaby's lumbar support pad.
Another upgrade is that this carrier doesn't need an infant insert! The carrier adjusts from a narrow seat to a wider seat using velcro tabs on the inside of the waistband. I wish they would've did away with the confusing button adjusts present on this carrier as well as the original Ergo 360. This carrier offers multi-position carries typical of other SSCs. The leg/bum bulk is still present in this carrier similar to the original 360 which I'm not a fan of.
The canvas material is still the same that you see in many SSCs which softens nicely with use. They also added some fun pops of color on the inner panel and hood. And, they added a removable waistband pouch for keys/wallet/phone.
My wearee in this picture is 13mo, 30", and 25lbs, in 18mo pant size. I don't prefer to carry facing outward but he had fun and it was more comfortable than other carriers I've tried that face outward.
