General Review: The Action Baby toddler carrier has a padded waist band with dual side
adjusting buckles. The padding is less thick and firm than a Tula waistband. The shoulder straps
are padded and have webbing to adjust, the buckles can be unclipped and the straps can be
crossed, though the buckles are not dual-adjusting. The chest clip can also be removed if you
are crossing your straps if it’s bothersome, though it’s slim and wasn’t in our way.
The panel is tall, which is great for leaning toddler. Instead of a square panel with leg padding
(like the tula and KP) the Action Baby has two layers to the panel, the internal black layer and
the exterior patterned layer. The internal panel has a nice curved shape at the bottom where
your toddler’s legs come out.
I really like the large, flat hood, the hood buckles into place (similar to a Kinderpack) which is my
preferred hood style. I also like that this Toddler is aimed for 18 months and up, many “toddler”
carriers don’t fit until 2T/3T clothing. This is a great option when a standard feels too small but a
toddler is still rather huge!
